A Paint Protection Website As Sharp As The Cars It Protects.
How we swapped Paintguard’s dated website for one clear page, with the film packages, a gallery of protected cars and a free quote form right up front.

The Business
Paintguard fits paint protection film to cars, vans and motorbikes from a workshop on Hulbert Road in Waterlooville, Hampshire, just off the A3. It has been doing it since 2006, using film from Xpel Ultimate Plus, 3M and SunTek, and it also carries out detailing, coatings and windscreen protection film.
The service is built around the customer’s time: there’s a courtesy car, a mobile service, and pick-up and drop-off out of hours. The gallery shows the kind of cars Paintguard is trusted with: a Ferrari Enzo, a Koenigsegg CCX, a Porsche 930 and a Ford Focus RS among them.
The Challenge
The old website hadn’t kept up with the business. The homepage, archived in May 2024, opened with a blue banner and a long run of text that still said “For 16 years”, even though the business had been going since 2006. The newest installation notes on the page dated from 2017 and 2018.
Getting in touch was harder than it needed to be. The phone number and email address only appeared inside an image in the sidebar, so on a phone they couldn’t be tapped. There was no quote form at all: the only form on the page was a site search. Further down, the page carried links to car insurance, breakdown cover and car hire, none of which had anything to do with paint protection film.
What We Did
We rebuilt the site as one clear page, set out in the order a buyer thinks: what the film does, which package fits, why Paintguard, what other customers say, the work itself, and the common questions.
The free quote form went right at the top, next to the headline. Every section after that ends with the same two choices, Get a Quote or call, and the number is a tap-to-call link everywhere it appears. On a phone it sits in the header as a big red button.
We set the work out as three packages, Partial Front, Full Front and Full Vehicle, each with a plain list of the panels it covers. The benefits of the film (self-healing, UV and stain resistance, edge sealing) each get a short, plain explanation. The FAQs answer what people actually ask: does it work, is there a lifetime warranty, can you see it, can it come off.
The design takes the red and blue of the Paintguard logo and sets them against a dark photo of film going onto a car, with a gallery of real jobs further down the page.
What Changed
Asking for a price takes one step. The quote form is on the first screen, and a quote button and the phone number follow every section. Before, there was no form, and the number was an image.
Calling works on a phone. The number is in the header and calls with one tap, instead of sitting inside a picture.
Drivers can see what they’re buying. The packages show which panels each level covers, so the first conversation starts in the right place.
The page reflects the business today. Current films, current services like the courtesy car and windscreen film, and a gallery of the cars Paintguard has protected.
From The Old Site To The New One.

Built Around How Their Customers Decide.
- 01
A Quote Form From The First Screen
The free quote form sits right beside the headline, and every section ends with a Get a Quote button and the phone number, so nobody has to hunt for a contact page.
- 02
Packages That Explain Themselves
Partial Front, Full Front and Full Vehicle each list exactly which panels are covered, so drivers can see what they need before they ask for a price.
- 03
The Cars Do The Talking
A gallery of real jobs, from a Ferrari Enzo to a Porsche 911 GT3, shows the standard of work better than any claim could.
- 04
One Tap To Call On A Phone
On a phone the number sits in the header as a big red button. One tap and Steve’s phone is ringing.

“Great on going service and patience from them both.”
