The Business
Wrapd Studios is a vehicle styling studio in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, working with drivers from Harrogate, Leeds, York and the wider region. The team changes a car’s colour with a full or partial wrap, fits paint protection film, tints windows and lights, removes chrome, refurbishes wheels, details and ceramic coats, fits starlight headliners, and brands vans and fleets for businesses.
The work ranges from daily drivers to the kind of cars people stop to look at: recent projects include an Audi R8 in gloss dark grey, a Porsche 911 GT3 in Gulf Blue and paint protection on a Ferrari SF90 Spider. Like most specialist businesses, new work starts with an enquiry: someone searches, lands on the website, and decides whether to get in touch.
The Challenge
The ad budget wasn’t going to change. The question was how many of the people clicking turned into enquiries, and what each enquiry cost.
The old website made that harder than it needed to be. The homepage was a large photo with “Call now” and “Get a quote” buttons, but no form: getting a quote meant clicking through to a general contact page. The phone number was printed as 0142 342 3449 rather than 01423 423 449, and the WhatsApp number appeared two different ways on the same contact page. Small things, but each one is a moment where a visitor can give up.
What We Did
We didn’t ask Wrapd to spend more. We made the money they were already spending work harder: a new website designed around one job, getting visitors to make an enquiry, with Google Ads campaigns sending searchers straight to it and conversion tracking so every enquiry is counted.
The quote form now sits right next to the headline on the homepage. It asks which service you’re after and the make, model and year of your vehicle, so the team has what they need to price the job before they pick up the phone. The phone number stays at the top of the screen as you scroll, and a WhatsApp button is always in the corner.
Each service has its own page explaining what it is and how the work is done, and the wrapping and fleet branding pages give starting prices, so visitors arrive at the form already knowing roughly what to expect. A projects gallery shows finished cars, tagged by service, and the Google rating sits in the footer of every page.
What Changed
Twice as many visitors became enquiries. The conversion rate doubled. When a website makes it obvious what you do and easy to get in touch, more of the people who arrive actually do.
Each enquiry cost half as much. With the same ad spend and twice the conversion rate, the cost per conversion halved. That’s the part most businesses miss: better ads help, but a better website multiplies everything you spend on them.
The leads kept coming. Wrapd had 338 more leads than in the same period before, and 55 conversions in just 14 days.
From The Old Site To The New One.

Built Around How Their Customers Decide.
- 01
Built Around One Action
Every page leads to the same place: getting a quote. The quote form sits beside the headline on the homepage, and on a phone the call and WhatsApp buttons stay in reach as you scroll.
- 02
Ads That Land In The Right Place
Google Ads campaigns send searchers straight to the pages that answer what they searched for.
- 03
Every Enquiry Counted
Conversion tracking ties each enquiry back to where it came from, so budget goes to what works.
- 04
Finished Cars On Show
A gallery of real projects, from a Porsche 911 GT3 in Gulf Blue to paint protection on a Ferrari SF90, shows the standard of the work before anyone asks for a price.
