A local page has to say something real about the place. So before we build one, we answer three questions.

We start with the ONS UK Business Counts for the area, so we know how many small firms there are and which sectors are biggest.

What Do People Search For?
We check how many people search for web design, SEO and local trades in that town, using Ahrefs’ UK data.

What Do Local Websites Get Wrong?
We check a sample of local business websites for the basics: tap-to-call, secure connections, up-to-date footers and the details Google uses for local results.
