A Legal Job Board And A Career Service, Under One Brand.

How we built Law-Hire a job board for HR, marketing and business development roles at law firms, plus a career hub for coaching, CV writing and consulting.

The Business

Law-Hire works with the people behind law firms: HR, marketing, business development and talent teams. It started as a consultancy built on experience as an in-house legal recruiter, offering law firms a flexible alternative to recruitment agencies, and coaching, mock interviews and CV writing for candidates, from law school graduates to qualified lawyers.

Today it runs two things side by side. The Law-Hire job board lists roles at firms such as Hogan Lovells, Norton Rose Fulbright, Herbert Smith Freehills and Addleshaw Goddard, across the UK, Europe and the US. The Career Hub carries the coaching and consulting services, along with articles and interview advice.

The Challenge

Law-Hire Ltd was registered at Companies House in August 2024, so this was a new business with nothing yet to show. When the law-hire.com address was first archived that month, it showed a stock website template with a statue of Justice and the heading “Expert Legal Advice for Your Business”, describing legal services rather than recruitment. By October 2024 it had been replaced with a “Website Coming Soon” page.

The plan had two stages. First, a website to sell the consulting and coaching straight away. Then a job board for law firm business services roles: the December 2024 site already carried a “Coming Soon” notice for an AI-powered recruitment platform launching in early 2025.

What We Did

We designed and built both sites. We started with the services. The first site, live by December 2024, opened with “Your in-house partner for direct hiring success” and set out the four services, from law firm hiring consulting to mock interviews and CV writing, each with its own page. Testimonials from candidates, a Career Hub of articles and a clear Get Started route sat alongside. A panel on the homepage invited visitors to sign up for news of the coming job board, with a prize draw to encourage sign-ups.

By May 2025 the job board had taken over law-hire.com. The homepage now leads with a job search, browsable categories, the latest roles and featured firms. Candidates can register, set up alerts, save jobs and upload a CV. Law firms can register, add a firm profile, post a job and choose a listing package. The coaching and consulting site moved to careerhub.law-hire.com, keeping the design and linked from the job board’s menu and footer.

Both sites share one look: deep navy, bright cyan and the Law-Hire mark, so a candidate moving from a job listing to a coaching page never feels they’ve left.

What Changed

Law-Hire went from a placeholder template to a working platform. Candidates can find law firm roles in their specialism, get alerts and research the firms behind them. Firms can post roles themselves, and the consulting and coaching services are a click away from every job.

The two sites do different jobs without competing: the job board is for finding a role, and the Career Hub is for getting ready to win it.

What we built

Built Around How Their Customers Decide.

  • 01

    Search Built For One Niche

Candidates search by job title and location, or jump straight into Legal HR, Business Development, Client Relations and other law firm roles from the homepage.

  • 02

    Law Firm Profiles

Every firm gets its own page with where it’s based, when it was founded and all its open roles, so candidates can weigh up the firm as well as the job.

  • 03

    Job Alerts And Saved Jobs

Candidates can set up alerts, bookmark roles and upload a CV, so the right jobs come to them instead of the other way round.

  • 04

    Coaching One Click Away

Interview coaching, mock interviews, CV writing and hiring consultancy for firms sit in the Career Hub, linked from every page of the job board.
