Modern Slavery Statement
Introduction
The Marketing Guys (“the Company”) is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are fully committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure they do not take place in any part of our business or supply chain. This statement is made in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our Business and Supply Chain
We are a UK-based provider of digital services including website design and development, SEO, branding, social media marketing, and Google PPC. While our sector is considered low-risk, we rely on external suppliers for technology solutions, cloud services, software, and some outsourced creative work. We recognise the responsibility to ensure these supply chains are free from exploitation.
Our Commitment
-
We strictly prohibit the use of forced labour, child labour, or any form of human trafficking.
-
We expect our suppliers and contractors to uphold the same high standards.
-
We conduct risk assessments of our supply chain, focusing on geographic and sectoral risk.
-
Contracts with suppliers include compliance clauses relating to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Due Diligence
-
Supplier onboarding includes ethical sourcing checks.
-
High-risk suppliers (e.g., international contractors in regions where labour standards are weaker) are subject to enhanced scrutiny.
-
We will terminate relationships with suppliers who fail to meet our ethical standards.
Training and Awareness
Employees receive training to identify potential risks and are encouraged to report concerns through our whistleblowing procedure.
Reporting and Monitoring
-
Reports can be made confidentially to Dan Proctor (dan@themarketing-guys.co.uk)
-
Any concerns raised will be investigated immediately.
